Apple Watch の裏蓋が外れる不具合、無償修理を3年に延長

”Apple has determined that under certain conditions on some Apple Watch (1st generation) devices the back cover may separate from the watch case. Apple will service eligible devices free of charge. Apple will authorize coverage for three (3) years from the date of purchase.【macrumors】

初代Apple Watchが充電後に、磁気充電ケーブルから取り外す際に、Apple Watchの裏蓋が外れてしまうという不具合が一部のユーザで発生している。Appleは、購入から2年以内にこの不具合が発生した製品について無償修理を行ってきたが、さらに1年延長することにしたそうだ。
2015年の4月にApple Watchを購入していた場合、2018年4月まで同不具合が発生すれば無償で交換をしてくれるというのだ。
