来月、Appleは iOS 初のパブリックベータ版をリリース

昨年、AppleはOS X Yosemiteのリリース前にパブリックベータ版を公開、情報を収集して正式版をリリースした。今回、iOS 8.3 も3月中頃にパブリックベータ版を配布するそうだ。

”Ahead of the October 2014 launch of OS X Yosemite, Apple released the new Mac OS as a beta to the first one million people who registered with interest.

OS X Yosemiteは、100万人のベーター版のテスターを募集した。

” In order to maintain a higher level of exclusivity, the public beta program for iOS will apparently be limited to 100,000 people, the sources say.

今回、iOS 8.3バブリックベータ版は、100,000に限定して配布するそうだ。誰よりも早く、最新の iOS を体験したいのであれば、公開直後に登録、直ちにダウンロードが必要だろう。今回のバブリックベータ版のリリースは、Apple Watch 発売に向けて重要なテストとなるのかもしれない。

例年どおりだと iOS は、9月頃にはメジャーアップデート版の最新版(iOS 9)がリリースされる。
