Foxconnがインドに iPhone 製造工場を設立

iPhone は Foxconn が中国工場でそのほとんどが製造されているが、インドに新しい工場を設立、生産拠点が増えるそうだ。

これまで iPhone の製造は中国というイメージだったが、人件費が安いという理由だけではなく、 iPhone の出荷量に合わせるてその生産拠点も変化していくのだ。ここ数年、インドでの旧モデル iPhone の人気が高く、 iPhone 6が発売されるとその人気が急加速しているそうだ。これからは、Made in Chaina の表示以外の iPhone を見る機会も増えてきそうだ。
